This year, a strong team of over 40 of our students headed to Ballina to compete in the Headlands District Swimming Carnival. This puts our students up against the best of the area reaching from Ocean Shores in the north, to south of Ballina, with a total of 17 local schools represented. Our team was not to be intimated though, taking on the competition with gusto and earning a swag of awards and incredible swims. Our team cheered each other on as we saw some incredibly brave swims - with some students swimming in their very first district carnival!
We have an amazing team of students who have made it through and are heading to Ballina again in two weeks to take on the best of our Zone! Here they are!
