NAIDOC 2023 - For Our Elders

Our favourite day of the year!

National NAIDOC Week 2023 was celebrated on the last day of Term 2, Friday 30th June. Local schools have been collaborating to educate, empower and motivate our ATSI jarjums by exploring the NAIDOC theme, ‘For our Elders’ through yarn ups and dance workshops. The jarjums all performed at BHPS NAIDOC, after alsp successfully performing at Mullumbimby High and Ocean Shores Public School.

After the assembly, all students participated in a range of hands on rotations like bush tucker, dance, music, games and crafts.
