About our school

At Brunswick Heads Public School we welcome your comments and feedback about our school, our website and our programs.

Our Positive Behaviour for Learning Program (PB4L) is entrenched in the classroom. This opportunity for students will see the our core school values of: Be Safe, Participate and Be Respectful expand into explicit learning strategies for students to successfully engage in learning.

Our Parents and Citizen's Committee is an important aspect of our school. Without the support of this Committee many of the wonderful resources we have would not be here!  They continue to busily fundraise with the help of the local community and the parent body and upgraded the playground and finance their ongoing commitments to the garden, home readers, programs and resources in the classroom. The P and C page on this site will advertise coming meetings and events. Make sure you check in to keep up-to-date! Click here.

Brunswick Heads Public School's aim is to deliver dynamic and relevant education that empowers our students to control their lives and promote commitment to responsible action. The school endeavours to empower students to take responsibility for their learning and to recognise that learning is a life-long process. The school has a strong emphasis upon literacy and numeracy. The school actively works towards ensuring that all students and their parents have a clear understanding of the student's stage of development in the basic skill areas. Equity programs ensure that needs of individual students are met in an environment which is safe, tolerant and supportive and a curriculum which is relevant, comprehensive and innovative.
