Our inaugural Art Show will be held on Monday 16th October, 5-7pm, so please save the date! All students are collaborating on a classroom canvas piece, and will also display their individual works. More information about the event will be shared next term.
Meanwhile, we invite students and families to enter a 2D and/or 3D piece. Attendees (you!) will be the judges and prizes will be awarded. There are 6 competition opportunities:
- K - 2 - 2D, any medium on 30cm x 40cm canvas*
- K - 2 - 3D, any medium (max 1m2 base)
- 3 - 6 - 2D, any medium on 30cm x 40cm canvas*
- 3 - 6 - 3D, any medium (max 1m2 base)
- BHPS families - 2D, any medium on 30cm x 40cm canvas*
- BHPS families - 3D, any medium (max 1m2 base)
*2D artwork is all to be submitted on a 20cm x 30cm stretched canvas that is to be purchased from our school. These canvases will be available for purchase for $10 from the office. If you would like to pre-order one of these canvases please complete the attached ORDER form and return it to your teacher as soon as possible, OR PAY IN PERSON AT THE OFFICE.
- Submit only new and original artwork
- A single applicant may submit multiple entries
- Every piece requires an entry form - see attachment
- Extra entry forms are available WITH a CANVAS PURCHASE, from the office.
- *2D art must be submitted on the purchased 30cm x 40cm canvas
All entries and entry forms are to be delivered to the school library on Friday 13th October. Artworks will not be eligible for competition without the entry form attached.
