Sport is an important part of our school. We believe that an active body will promote an active mind!
Representative Sport
BHPS has selection trials for softball, cricket, tennis, AFL, netball, rugby league and soccer. All students participate in house carnivals for swimming (ages 8 and over), cross country and athletics.

K-2 Sport
K-2 focus on developing key fundamental skills required for all physical activity. The following elements provide the basis for preparing the students to progress to more advanced skills and team based sports as the year progresses.
Each week student work in rotating groups and be involved in a variety of activities and games that incorporate the following.
- Balance
- Landing
- Walking /Running
- Jumping
Friday sport sessions will be complemented by additional physical activity sessions during the week.
3-6 Sport
Every Friday students participate in a variety of skill based sports. BHPS offers a huge range from dance to ultimate frisbee; from t-ball to basketball; from skating to swim & gym.
