Year 2 parents kick-start the class fundraising season!
In an attempt to spread the fundraising load and to meet the business plan targets, the P&C have delegated some events to the individual classes to run, man and support. Parents from year 2 Wajung class showed us how it's done on Sunday April 26 at Byron Bay Bunnings hosting a sausage sizzle that profited $260. Mrs Cook came down to lend a hand, and all the parents involved said it was a lot of fun and would be happy to help out again.
Class rep Antonia (Sara) co ordinated the 10 helpers and Verity (Scout) organised the preparation and pack up.
Bunnings have kindly allocated another BBQ date for our school in August so if your class would like to run one, then email the P&C bhpsparents@gmail.com
