Mrs Parker gives us the inside scoop
1. Where did you go to Primary School?
Kindergarten - Murrami Public School; Year 1 to Year 5 - Hay Public School then in Year 6 - Bangalow Public School
2. What was your favourite subject? English and PDHPE
3. Do you own any pets? Yes, two. Cockatiel called Polly & a Border Collie called Marley
4. What did you want to be when you grew up? I've always wanted to be a teacher, but I think there was a period of time when I was 4 years old, when I wanted to own a lolly shop (like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory)
5. What's your favourite colour? Green (Phew!)
6. What's on the car stereo if you have to go on a long drive? Triple J or Roald Dahl's Audio Books
7. League, Union, AFL or Soccer? I love all sports! But I do follow the league and union. My cousin, Nick Cummins (also known as the Honey Badger) has played rugby union for Australia and the Western Force and has recently begun training with his new team in Japan
8. What is your favourite movie to watch with your family? Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 or The Bee Movie
9. What will you order from the canteen on Friday? Salad sandwich
10. The best thing about your first week being Principal at Brunswick Heads Public School. Getting to meet all of the wonderful students, staff, parents and community who work collaboratively to make our beautiful school a truly wonderful place to be!
If haven't already said g'day and welcome to Trisha Parker and her son Izaak (who is in K/1P) then please do! You'll find Mrs Parker playing a competitive game of handball at lunchtime or welcoming students and families in the morning. And on Saturday 23rd August, she'll be at our Frozen movie night. We're trying to convince her to dress up as Elsa...!
